The aim of Sea2See is to create a global consciousness of sea contamination through a stylish product that anybody can wear with pride. Sea2See produces not just glasses, but a statement of change. Waste is seen as raw material, and treated as such. With a strong belief that the design, assembly, and use of sustainable products is essential and a duty of mankind, the Sea2See brand views sea contamination as one of the greater challenges of our time. It is the reason why they have decided to produce their products differently than most. Sea2See remains environmentally conscious and expects ecologically friendly materials, sustainable use of resources, reduced emissions, and greater social commitments from the companies they support.

Frames are colored by hand, creating a unique feel for every piece.
Sea2See collaborates with fishing communities in 27 ports of Spain and 10 coastal areas of Ghana in order to collect discarded marine plastic waste such as fishnets, ropes, lines, or bottles. Different types of waste are separated to be recycled and then reused as raw material. 90% of what is collected is recycled. Only 25% of the polymer collected can be used to manufacture Sea2See glasses. Plastic waste is then up-cycled into a reusable raw material. The fundamental characteristic of this process is the use of waste to create new plastic. Because of this, waste is an integral part of the supply chain. Sea2see designs and produces optical frames and sunglasses entirely made with the recycled marine plastic waste collected in collaboration with thousands of fishermen in Spanish waters. Each frame is colored by hand, creating a similar but never identical look.
